Local Area Agreements
Local Area Agreements (LAAs) are a new central government initiative to encourage greater partnership working and delivery at a local level.

They are based around the following four strands of public service activity:

  • Safer and Stronger Communities
  • Children and Young People
  • Healthy Communities and Older People
  • Economic Development and Enterprise

Within Nottinghamshire, the two LAAs are being led by the local authorities - Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council. The Greater Nottingham Partnership is working actively with both Councils to ensure a Greater Nottingham wide approach, particularly within the economic development and enterprise strand.

Attached below are the final versions of both the City and County LAAs, which are available to download in word format.
