Strategy Action Teams (SATs)
In moving away from an open bidding to an action planning based approach, the GNP has established six Strategy Action Teams or SATs to help develop its strategies and target the allocation of its fuding. The current GNP SATs are as follows: Each SAT is composed of members drawn from public, private, local authority and voluntary and community sector organisations working within relevant fields across the sub-region. One member of each group acts as a SAT Champion and is a member of the GNP Board, representing the interests of that particular theme group at its meetings. Each SAT is allocated a manager from among the GNP's officers, whose role is to facilitate the working of the group and support the development of its strategy and projects.
